About me

Mark Breen is a professionally trained chef with experience in some of London’s best restaurants including St John’s and Lyle’s as well as collaborations with a range of the capital’s great chefs and pop ups. He is also a chef tutor at Central Street Cookery School. A fantastic learning facility, offering a range of corporate cookery classes as team building events, parties or cooking classes simply for fun and to learn new skills. In 2013 the school was double awarded as the best community focused cookery school in Britain. Particularly passionate about modern British and Italian cuisine, that uses quality, locally produced, seasonal ingredients. Enthusiastic, clean and organised. Keen to create menus jointly with clients, and provide an experience that brings you 100% flavour but 0% hassle. We booked Mark for a Christmas party for 12 guests and he was fantastic. He happily catered for the one person who had a nut allergy and also for one of the women who was pregnant, changing the menu for them personally, whilst sticking with the original menu that was booked for the rest of us. He was extremely pleasant and made the evening with his courteous manner, whilst outlining exactly what he had made. He left the kitchen spotless on his departure and we would definitely have him again as all of the food was amazing!

Mark delivered the perfect night for a 60th birthday dinner for 20 people. He was professional, very friendly and the food was delicious. We would certainly have him again! Thank you Mark.

Mark was terrific. He produced a great meal for 12 of us. He was also lovely company and made the evening go seamlessly. Really good communication before as well, and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend!
